ACTION:

• Browse Greater Friendship's Job Postings below and others.
• Customize your resume to the specific job opening.
• Resume length should be a minimum of:
  • Letter of Interest - one page
  • Work Experience - two pages
  • Recognitions, Achievements, Awards, etc. - one page
• If you make your resume too long, there is no need for an interview - you've told them everything.
• Check for deadlines for completing the application and/or submitting your resume.
• Be sure to have all requested documentations (transcripts, high school diploma, social security, drivers license, etc.)
• Make a list of places with name, address, phone numbers and directions.
• Be sure to keep a journal of all of your employment contacts.

PREPARATION:

• Start the morning with a prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
• Get up early and dress as if you were going to work.
• Be sure to dress for the job you're seeking.
• Start the day no later than 8:00 a.m. or according to workplace hours.
• Stop at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and relax.
• Hit the pavement again at 1:00 p.m.
• Stop at 4:00 p.m. with a prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
• Start again the next morning.
