Minister Lawrence Glover

Minister Lawrence A. Glover, a servant, and man of God was born in Plant City, FL. In 1974 he graduated from Plant City Senior High School. In 1975, he gave his life to Christ, and began a spiritual journey to God.

In 1976 he joined the U.S. Army and served honorably for four years. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1980 and continued to serve the Lord. His higher education continued and he graduated from Hillsborough Community College, majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.

He began a new career in construction in 1987, building new homes, and rehabing older homes, which he still does today. In 2000 he joined a men's ministry called Promise Keepers, which led him in 2004 to start a new ministry teaching at a private school, and teaching young adults that their purpose in life is serving the living God.

In 2006 he moved to Daytona Beach, FL and started a new spiritual journey teaching and preaching to the lost. His move to Daytona Beach lead him and his wife to join Greater Friendship Baptist Church in 2008, where he continues teaching and preaching God's Word. God has blessed him to become a part of the ministrerial staff of Greater Friendship, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Dr. L. Ronald Durham. In 2008 minister Glover enrolled back in college to pursue a B.A. degree in Theological Studies, and Criminal Justice.
